It all started in the Winter of 2012, when two Texas born, then New York City transplants, saw their lives unfolding in front of them one slow day at a time. Corporate drones—cubicle heroes—robots… whatever you want to call it, this was not the life we envisioned for ourselves. Society told us growing up to settle down, get a “good job” and work to retire.
We are dreamers. We are doers. The status quo just wasn’t going to cut it for us, and we needed to break the mold. We quit our day jobs, moved across the country and decided to make our dreams a reality.
We were destined to live.
well lived—a life well traveled—a life well spent. For us, good food was such an integral part in that. Food brings us together, food enriches our lives, and food nourishes our soul. We knew creating good food had to play a role in that life, but we didn’t know how.
